Tobi has refined her public speaking skills by discussing a range of topics that include race, feminism, technology, careers, the beauty industry and mental health. She has spoken at educational institutions that include Cambridge University, SOAS University, Bristol University and London College of Fashion. Tobi has also spoken at Geek Girl Conference, NUS Scotland’s Woman’s Conference, Unmasked Women's conference and Black Girl Festival and has given a guest lecture to Temple university students from Philadelphia, who were on a study programme in London. In addition to her public speaking, Tobi was also a part of BBC’s 2016 Black and British Season, appearing as a panelist in BBC 1Xtra’s Big Debate.

In 2017, Tobi was part of the TedxTottenham speaking line-up and gave a talk on how the beauty industry has devalued black women.
